Aibanshngain Swer, Director, MIG & Project Lead, MLRF
Recipient of the Meghalaya Day Excellence Award, 2013 and coming from an agrarian background he joined government service in 1991 and is currently working with the Govt. of Meghalaya as the Director of Meghalaya Institute of Governance (MIG) to promote good governance in the state. He is also the Team Leader of the Social Impact Assessment Unit and the Project Lead of the Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF) programme.
Ibakordor Dohling, Manager, MIG & Fellowship Manger, MLRF
With expertise in Civil Laws and other legal matters, and ten years of experience in the Meghalaya District Council Court and District Session Court, she joined the organization in 2014. Currently, she serves as the Manager of MIG as well as the Fellowship Manager of the Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF) programme. Leveraging her skills in training, legal affairs, research, and documentation, she effectively leads the team and ensures smooth project operations.
Raymond Nongrum, Deputy Manager, (Finance & Accounts)
A Commerce graduate with extensive experience in accounting, he has been overseeing financial matters since 2009. Joining the organization in 2011, he currently serves as the Deputy Manager of the Finance & Accounts section, demonstrating strong expertise in budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis. He also mentors junior staff and interns while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Sandy Princely Kharkongor, Deputy Manager, (Administration)
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Human Resources, and oversees the MIG’s administrative functions. Since 2012, he has been leading community mobilization efforts, organizing events, and supporting the digital documentation of project consultations. Additionally, he expresses his creativity as a skilled tattoo artist, blending artistry with precision.
Paramjit Paul, Assistant Manager
With an academic foundation in Sociology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communications, he brings a unique blend of knowledge to his role in the organization. Consistently demonstrating reliability, paired with exceptional content writing and meticulous editing skills, he plays a vital role in enhancing communication and driving the team’s success through well-crafted and insightful project reports.
Deiphibiang Kharkongor, Programme Associate
With a Master's degree in Print Journalism and a background in Media Technologies, she utilises her skills in content writing and editing to drive community engagement initiatives and collaborate with multiple government departments. In her leisure time, she enjoys photography and explores new destinations.
Ibanlamti Diengdoh, Programme Associate
She holds a Postgraduate degree in Folkloristics and contributes to the team by facilitating stakeholder consultations across diverse developmental projects. With strong communication skills, she supports project documentation through editing and proofreading reports to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Lahborlang Shylla, Administrative Associate
After completing his higher secondary education, his journey with MIG began in 2014 as a Multi-Tasking Assistant. Over the years, he has become a dependable team member, actively contributing to administrative tasks, finance and accounting support and field assistance. He plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and often steps in to support cross-functional needs as required.
Merrylyne Wankhar, Administrative Associate
She joined the Meghalaya Institute of Governance (MIG) in 2018 as a Multi-Tasking Assistant and since then, she has been actively involved in managing daily office operations and providing essential administrative support and field assistance. Currently serving as an Administrative Associate, she carries out her responsibilities with dedication and efficiency, contributing to the smooth functioning of the organization.
